Today we have signed an agreement with the Official College of Agricultural Technical Engineers of Almería (COITAAL), to promote and improve the professionalization of the sector and help the professional growth of Agricultural Engineers.
The demand of quality training in agribusiness management is increasing due to high competition and the different challenges that professionals in the agricultural sector must face.
The agrarian sector is changing by leaps with the irruption of new technologies, new consumption habits, the responsible use of resources, corporate social responsibility, agro-industrial marketing, etc. That is why all agents in the agricultural and agri-food supply chain must have leaders prepared to face and anticipate these challenges that allow them to compete in the working market.
In order to broaden the range of skills of the agricultural engineer and meet training needs, we will work together with COITAAL to offer joint training solutions to professionals in the sector.
Proof of the desire to promote the professionalization of the sector are the events organized prior to this agreement, such as the one held on July 24; a lecture by Silvia García, Academic Director of ISAM who spoke about how to take advantage of new technologies so that agricultural engineers enhance their personal and professional brand.
Thanks to this agreement, the members will benefit from advantageous conditions in all of our programs, as well as from different training actions aimed at the agricultural sector.
Currently within the training offer of International School of Agri Management, is the International Master in Agribusiness (MIA). This program is based on excellence and focused on professionals who intend to obtain a 360º vision of the agricultural sector and want to become leaders.
MIA will begin on October 11 and is designed so that work can be combined with formative growth.
We are convinced and this is also stated by COITAAL, the importance of investment in training of this group, in order to help improve and enhance the agricultural sector in Almería, considered one of the most important agricultural hubs in the world.
